Bognor Regis

Honoured with the 2017 Seaside Award, Bognor Regis provides a tranquil seaside resort, situated in West Sussex, and close to Chichester. The town hosts a collection of activities and attractions, such as water sports, a museum, several parks and many shops in the town centre.

Sit back and relax on the shingle and sand beaches just near the town centre, make some magnificent sand castles, or get stuck in with the various water sport activities the beach offers, from paddle boarding to kayaking. Then why not relax by taking a stroll down the Victorian pier to watch the setting sun.

Educate yourself by visiting Bognor Regis Museum which provides a trip through time with displays of vintage cameras to fossils.

Hotham Park is where the founder of the modern Bognor Regis, Sir Richard Hotham, built his house in 1792. Set in 22 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds, visitors can enjoy the heritage of the park, the boating lake, a miniature railway, a café, picnic spots and much more.

Just over 5 miles away is the lively city of Chichester, which has many shops, galleries, museums, and a Norman and Gothic styled cathedral. The canal in Chichester has boat trips running throughout the year, allowing visitors to take in the stunning views and wildlife.

A short distance away, located high upon a hill in West Sussex, lays the picturesque Arundel Castle and Gardens, which overlooks the South Downs and the River Arun. Founded in the 11th century, the castle and its glorious gardens can now be explored and enjoyed by visitors.
